- How do I add a bottle I own?
- Tap + and choose “Bottle to my cellar”, or tap the glass on any catalogue card. It appears in My cellar.
- How do I log a tasting note?
- Tap + and choose “Tasting note”, or use the note box at the top of any bottle’s page.
- What happens when I tap “Got it” on my wishlist?
- The bottle moves off your wishlist and into My cellar, sealed and dated today. You can change the fill level and price from the bottle’s page.
- A bottle is missing from the catalogue.
- Tap + and choose “Bottle to the catalogue”. You can use it straight away; everyone else sees it once a moderator has checked it.
- How should I name a bottle?
- Brand, then age, then the bottle’s own name, then any finish, batch or cask in brackets: “Glenfarclas 15 Year Old (Sherry Cask)”. Write ages as “12 Year Old”. Leave out the strength and bottle size; strength has its own box, ABV %. Keep official names as the label writes them (“A’bunadh”, “Uigeadail”), and end with “(Cask Strength)” only when the label says so. If you picked the brand, you can leave it out of the name: it is shown in front.
- Something in the catalogue is wrong.
- Use Report on the bottle’s page and say what is wrong. A moderator can correct the entry by hand.
- Can I get my data out, or delete my account?
- Yes — both are in Settings. Your cellar exports as a spreadsheet from My cellar.
